Windmill Rice Medium Grain Milled Rice is a high quality, well milled rice, produced from medium grain varieties. When cooked, medium grain rice is plumper, moister and tenderer than long grain rices. The lower amylose and higher amylopectin content causes the kernels to cling together more than long grain. As a result, medium grain is generally preferred for hot breakfasts, puddings and desserts. Medium Grain Milled Rice is certified as Kosher. |
